I’m Sammi Joe: I’m a wife still finding her groove, an imperfect Christian who very much lives and believes in grace, a recovering over thinker, a Collie-mum to a lovable whirlwind named Zeb.

I started Perfectly Unfinished because I know life isn’t always picture-perfect, I’ve walked through and found freedom from from the grips of addiction, anxiety, and all the messy bits of trying to be “enough.” I’ve learned that real progress doesn’t have to be polished-it just has to be honest.

Here, you’ll find faith inspired reflections, anecdotes, a bit of evidenced based psychology and plenty of real life humour-like I thought I was supposed to be teaching my dog, but it turns out my dog is also teaching me! Teaching me about patience, one muddy paw at a time.
